The short version
- Post your own work, with honest credits and real laurels.
- No work that isn't yours — including unlicensed music in your soundtrack.
- Provocative films are fine; hate and harassment are not.
- No pornography, and absolutely nothing that sexualizes minors.
- See something that breaks the rules? Email us — we review every report.
Little Indie Films exists so student and independent filmmakers can show their work and be found. These guidelines keep it a place worth belonging to.
What belongs here
- Films, trailers, clips, and series you made or worked on;
- Scripts and treatments you wrote;
- Honest credits — including crediting the people who worked with you;
- Real awards, festival selections, and laurels.
What doesn’t
- Work that isn’t yours. Don’t post films, footage, or scripts you don’t have rights to — including unlicensed music in your soundtrack.
- Hate and harassment. Films can be provocative; attacks on people can’t. No hateful content targeting people for who they are, and no harassing other members.
- Exploitative content. No pornography, and absolutely nothing that sexualizes minors. Mature themes in legitimate film work are fine.
- Fake credentials. Invented laurels, awards, or credits undermine everyone’s real ones.
- Spam. This is a portfolio, not a funnel.
Reporting content
If you see content that breaks these guidelines or the law, email support@littleindiefilms.com with a link to the content and a short description. Copyright complaints should follow the DMCA process. We review every report.
Enforcement
Depending on severity we may remove content, unpublish a site, or terminate an account — see our Terms of Service. We’ll tell you when we remove something of yours and why.
