Your members’ best work, under your banner
Film fraternities, school programs, festivals, collectives: your people make remarkable work, and right now it’s scattered across personal YouTube channels and dead portfolio links. An organization channel puts the best of it at yourorg.littleindiefilms.com — curated by you, owned by them.
Org channels are provisioned with the platform team — write to us and we’ll set up your handle, your parent org if you have one, and your first hundred invite codes before your next meeting.
A showcase you curate, not a feed you fight
Members submit projects from their own dashboards; your curators see them arrive in a queue. Approve puts a film on your channel, Feature promotes it to your reel, and you drag the featured order by hand — the face of your channel is a deliberate choice, not an algorithm’s.
The core rule: the filmmaker owns the work; your channel syndicates it. If someone leaves, the syndication ends — their work never does. And if you sit inside a hierarchy (a chapter under a national, a program under a department), your featured films roll up to the parent channel automatically, credited through you.
Every member gets a real site under your wing
Your organization holds 100 single-use invite codes. A filmmaker who claims with your code gets their own site — themes, protected scripts, money rails, the lot — and is automatically joined to your org: on your members page and able to submit to your showcase from the first minute. One chapter meeting onboards a cohort.
Codes carry attribution, so you can see exactly which members — and which members’ members — your organization brought in. The growth you drive is measurable, not anecdotal.
Run it as a team
Curation shouldn’t be one officer’s unpaid job. Bring co-curators onto the dashboard at three tiers:
- Editor — the showcase queue, channel content, and comment moderation.
- Manager — everything an editor can do, plus invite codes and announcements.
- Admin — everything, including channel settings. That’s the owner tier.
Your public Members page renders the whole roster in your chosen theme, each card opening that member’s own site.
Recruitment material that maintains itself
A channel is a living answer to the question every prospective member, dean, and alum asks: what do your people actually make? It updates itself as members publish — new films, festival laurels, credits — so the link you put in the rush flyer, the admissions page, and the alumni newsletter is never stale.
Your alumni keep their sites after they graduate, still credited through your channel — which means your showcase compounds into an alumni network you can actually point at.
$1.50 per member, per month. That’s the whole bill, sized by your roster — you’re paying for your channel, and every member site is included free, whether they’ve claimed it yet or not. It buys the thing most organizations simply don’t have: films playing on your own site, curated by you, updating itself as your members publish. Every member gets a full site of their own under your banner, included. Your members’ money features (patronage, tips, unlocks, campaigns) run on their own Stripe accounts — they keep 90% of what their supporters pay, and none of it routes through you.
One meeting. A whole cohort online.
Tell us your organization’s name and handle, and we’ll have your channel and invite codes ready before you adjourn.
