Back the work, not the overhead

For local businesses, film-adjacent brands, and patrons with letterhead: a direct way to put money behind young filmmakers — a specific production, a specific person — and point at exactly what it made possible.

Your money goes to the work

Back a specific production campaign on the all-or-nothing model: pledging saves a card and charges nothing. If the goal is met by the deadline, your card is charged and the film gets made; if it’s missed, every pledge is released and nobody ever paid. There’s no refund to chase because no charge ever happened.

Prefer sustained support over a one-off? Patronize a filmmaker monthly, or tip a film you believe in. Every payment runs on the filmmaker’s own Stripe account — their name on your statement, the money in their bank.

You see exactly what you funded

Every campaign carries a dated promise: the finished film premieres on the filmmaker’s own site — the same place the money was raised. Delivery isn’t a mailed-in progress update; it’s a film at a URL, with your backing on the record beside it.

That’s the difference from generic crowdfunding: the platform that collected the pledge can see whether the film shipped — and so can you.

Reach the next wave before everyone else

The audience here is emerging filmmakers, their crews, their classmates, and their fans — the people who will be running sets and post houses in ten years. Backing runs through film programs and fraternity chapters, so your support lands in front of a whole cohort, not a scroll-past impression.

Sponsors who show up while the work is student-sized get remembered when it isn’t.

Simple rails

Stripe Checkout, a receipt in your inbox, done. No procurement circus, no net-30 invoicing, no gift-in-kind valuation forms. A pledge takes about a minute; a monthly patronage takes two. You can put real money behind a filmmaker before the coffee gets cold.

What we don’t do yet

There’s no self-serve sponsor dashboard and no sponsorship package you can buy with a card. Sponsorships today are concierge: you email us, tell us your budget and who or what you want behind — a campaign, a filmmaker, a program’s cohort — and we set it up and stay on the thread. Honest trade-off: less automation, more attention.

Put your name beside the next wave

Tell us what you want to back and at what scale — we’ll bring you the filmmakers and campaigns that fit, and you’ll see what your money made.
